Number of new subcribers : 1.444 new sets, attain 175% of the year's plan (increase 153,3% in comparision with the year 1993 )

Total number of telephone in the network : 3.100 subcribers.

Long distance phone call : 3,1 second million ( increase 74,8% in comparision with the year 1993).

             Posts turnover :         829,9 VND million, get 7,39%.

            Press distribution turnover :175,2 VND million, get 1,56%.

 Number of new subcribers :  1.863 new sets, attain 103,5% of the year's plan (increase 33,07% in comparision with the year 1994).

Total number of telephones in the network : 4.848 subcribers.

            Posts and press distribution turnover : 1.547,6 VND million, get 8,49%

Number of new subcribers : 2.303 sets, attain 100,13% of the year's plan (increase 6,8% in comparision the year 1996)

Expanding Vinaphone network and putting it into operation in June 1977, increase total number of mobile phone 144 sets.

Expanding public telecommunications network in sea, putting into operation to serve fishmen in catching sea food.

Expanding to carry out Internet and Email services. In the whole province there are 5 Email boxes: 2 for subcriber and 3 for office.

The year 1998 :

Total turnover : 26.105,79 VND million , attain 104,42% of the year's plan.

Total turnover of Post & Telecoms service : 23.457,4 VND million, attain 104,25% assigned plan (increase 1,29 times in comparision with the year 1997).

     Of which:    Telecoms turnover : 21.573,8 VND million, get 91,97%.

                      Posts and press distribution turnover : 1.883,6 VND million, get 8,03% .

Turnover of other services :  2.648,4 VND million, get 105,93% of the year's plan.

 Development of subcribers :

Number of new subcribers : 2.304 sets, attain 109,7% of the year's plan (equal 100,13% in comparision with the year 1997). Of which, number of mobile phone is 150 sets.

Total number of telephones in the network : 11.668 subcribers.

Total telephone capacity : 14.872 digital.

Telephone density : 2,41 sets/100 inhabitants.

 Phone call productivity :

Long-distance phone call : 11.086.087 seconds (increase 20,5% in comparision with the year 1997).

International phone call : 26.862 seconds (increase 23,01% in comparision with the year 1997 ).

 Distributed newspapers productivity : 1.160.000 copies.

Total number of approved investment capital : 11.600 VND million, carried out and finished to be in used 18.489 VND million.

                     - Posts and press distribution turnover : 1.964 VND million, get 7,7%

Development of subcribers :

Number of new subcribers : 2.132 sets, attain 101,7% of the year's plan. Of which, number of mobile phone is 176 sets.

Total number of telephones in the network : 13.800 subcribers.

Total telephone capacity : 15.384 digital.

Telephone density : 2,73 sets/100 inhabitants.

Phone call productivity :

Long-distance phone call : 13.566.000 seconds (increase 22,35% in comparision with the year 1998).

International phone call : 21.700 seconds (decrease 19% in comparision with the year 1998)

Distributed newspapers productivity : 1.210.000 copies ( Increase 4% in comparision with the year 1998).

Basic construction investment :

Total number of approved investment capital : 63056 VND million, carried out 42.638 VND million and finished to be in used 4.037 VND million.

Total value of net fixed property : 111,16 bill.

In the whole province there are 32 post-stations, 12 kiosques and post agencies, 22 culture postal stations.

Expanding many large constructions:
    Architecture construction :

            1. Construct HOST II station, customer service center.

            2. Building working office of Thap Cham Post office.

            3. Construct Thanh Hai post-station.

            4. Repair and enlarge working office of Ninh Thuan P & T

            5. Upgrade SSA station cover of Ninh Son Post office.

            6. Construct 40 meter pillars antenna in Phuoc Dinh.

   Telecoms construction :

            1.Install provincial cable transmission circle (Phan Rang-Thap Cham, Phan Rang-Ninh Hai, Phan Rang-Ninh Phuoc)

            2.Install interprovincial cable line, Host Phan Rang-Lam Son.

            3.Install  Công Hai-Phan Rang-Tuy Phong cable line.

            4.Reform and expand local cable network in Phan Rang-Thap Cham town.

 New services :

Prepaid Mobil phone service (Vinacard) was carried out from November 1999 and developed 52 subcribers.

 Total turnover : 32.312 VND million , attain 103,5% of the year's plan.

Total turnover of Post & Telecoms service : 30.475 VND million, attain 100,53% assigned plan.

      Of which :  Telecoms turnover : 28.307 VND million, get 92,9%.

                     Posts and press distribution turnover : 2.168 VND million, get 7,1%

Turnover of other services : 1.837 VND million.

 Development of subcribers :

Number of new subcribers : 3.015 sets, attain 123,% of the year's plan. Of which, number of prepaid mobile phone is 854 sets, number of mobile phone is 61 sets.

Total number of telephones in the network : 16.625 subcribers.

Total telephone capacity : 23.448 digital.

Telephone density : 3,23 sets/100 inhabitants.

Long-distance phone call : 15.997.930 seconds.

International phone call : 18.730 seconds.

  Distributed newspapers productivity : 1.320.410 copies.

 Basic construction investment :

Total number of approved investment capital : 61,46 VND billion, carried out 25,18 VND billion and finished to be in used 52,32 VND billion.

Total value of net fixed property : 113,96 bill.

In the whole province there are 32 post-stations, 12 kiosques and post agencies, 22 cultural postal stations.

 Develope Internet subcribers : 58 accounts, increase total number of subcribers in the network : 112 accounts

 New services :

Install and put into operation cardphone service in the whole province with 40 stations at public place and crowded areas.

Co-operate with information technology development center of Ho Chi Minh national university to train informatics courses level A, B, C and information technology experts.
