network: |
Total length of the national roadways is 180 kilometers with 64
kilometers of national highway No.1A, 68 kilometers of national
highway No.27 and 48 kilometers of national highway No. 27B.
Provincial roadways include three routes of 702, 703, 704 that meet
class IV standard, are covered with tar with total length of 53,9
kilometers and link provincial center with districts in the
province. District and
inter-communal road network has the total
length of nearly 300 kilometers, of which most of the roads have
been invested to be upgraded and convenient for all-year-around
transport.
The goal for the next 10 years is to: upgrade and tar
seal town routes, inter-communal routes and those leading to goods
production areas, industrial complexes, isolated and remote areas as
well as the ones for security and defense; increse the present
transport density from 0.24km/km2 to 0.8-1km/km2 by 2010;

irrigation systems namely Nha trinh, Lam Cam and Krongpa that can
provide water for 15,000ha. Tan Giang lake can provide water for

priority. By 2005, investment will be put into the construction of
major irrigation works of Sat river in Bac Ai district, Song Trau
lake in Ninh Hai district, Lanh Ra lake in Ninh Phuoc district, and
several samll and medium reservoirs, and this has increased to some

Phuoc Tuy, Phuoc Nhon, Bau Ngu lake, Ta Ranh, Bieu river. By 2010,
the total irrigation area will be expanded to 35 thousand ha./.
